How about a taste of mine… it’s a drink of my own creation, and I’m afraid I haven’t given it a name. It’s sweet, but it packs a punch. I think you’ll like it. [ He blinks and catches the drink, smelling it curiously before taking a sip. It does taste delicious, but he doesn't want to drink it all. Aventurine is a guest, after all...albeit a sketchy one. ]

I can fix myself an identical one while you enjoy it. I rarely get a chance to spend much time beyond the bar. It might be nice making drinks for others for a change.

If you're sure. [ he shrugs and moves out of his seat to reclaim his drink. ] Do you ever really drink, birdie, or is this your first time since being under your father's thumb? We could make things interesting and play a game if you like.

I– [ He's sure he has drank before, but his memories are a bit muddled at the moment. ] I can drink. I am of age, not that Penacony has any strict rules, given that the effects of inebriation in the dreamscape are not particularly harmful to the physical body.

What game were you considering? A few rounds on the slot machines outside? How predictable.

Being 'of age' means nothing. I have a hard time seeing the prestigious head of the Family letting loose and drinking himself silly.

[ he laughs, ] I'm not that predictable. A drinking game, Sunday. We roll a die and take that many shots. Whoever downs them all first gets to ask the other truth or dare.

And you will not see such a sight this evening either, so you have nothing to worry about.

Are you sure? [ aventurine smirks as he polishes off the drink. ] And, silly birdie, who says I ever intended to choose truth? Dare is infinitely more fun. But you have to beat me to have the opportunity to put forth either at all, and I don't think you can out drink me~.

I can, or do you believe drinking in the Dreamscape would affect me more than a guest who is nowhere near as use to it [ He knows it's all memoria and the influence of the Harmony, and Aventurine should know that too ]. You can also roll your dice first if you desire.

Doubt. [ he snickers. ] And who says a dream about the dreamscape works the same~? I think you'll find that your immunity means nothing here. I hope you're ready to lose yourself. But, hey, at least it'll be fun. [ he roll a six. ] Rack 'em up, birdie. Six shots a piece.

[ He starts downing them quickly, one after the other, though he's a lot slower because he's not trying to spill anything on himself. He is panting a little by the end and wiping at his lips delicately. ]

...Well, what dare would you have me do first?

[ aventurine drinks his own batch with practiced perfection. he even goes as far as to stack them in a little tower. ] Truth or Dare, birdie. Which would you prefer~?

I already asked for a dare. [ It's safer.

Perhaps. He still wants to keep a lot of truths to himself. Take them to the grave with him, if possible. ]

Just making sure, because dares can be dangerous. [ aventurine snaps his fingers to produce a poker chip, one he rolls toward sunday. ] I dare you to flip this and do the following depending on how the coin has landed. If you get heads, then you have to remove one article of clothing. If you get tails, then you’ve got to remove everything but one article of clothing.

[ He flips the coin before removing his jacket and setting it on the back of his seat. ]

[ He rolls the dice next then hides his grimace when it lands on six. That's six whole shots again... ]

Xipe is still smiling down on you, birdie, how fortunate. [ although he’s interested to see how long that lasts. ] … [ aventurine bursts into a small fit of laughter as sunday rolls another six. ] Let’s see if you were right about yourself, …can you really hold all that liquor?

[ aventurine lines up the shots and downs the first two without issue, but he’s definitely starting to feel the effects with the third, fourth, and fifth. still, he leans against the bar top as he raises the sixth, eyes gleaming as he watches sunday as he doesn’t it. ] This game may not last all that long if we keep rolling like that.

[ He's behind again. Slow to drink all the shots because they hurt going down and taste acrid. His senses are too attuned at the moment, almost like he's reliving a memory where he actually did drink this much outside of a dream. ]

I am fine. Truth this time.

[ He's not sure if he wants to chance being naked again. ]

[ this might have been a bad idea, since he doesn’t think sunday can ( and will ) outpace him… especially now. it’s not exactly fair… and he feels a bit bad, but a win’s a win. he can reconsider the rules for next round… maybe. ]

Do you miss your days of purity or have you accepted that you’re filthy… like the rest of is. All of those carnal cravings coming to fruition and pleasure~

[ His mouth feels very dry, on account of all the alcohol he drank. He doesn't want to answer, but he's too honorable to lie. ]

[ He hands the dice to Aventurine. ]

It is. I do not like the person I was when I was here any longer. There are good memories, yes, but the terrible ones outweigh them.

[ He'd do anything not to remember. ]

… [ he lifts his hand to reveal a coin, and once it begins spinning on the countertop the world around them shifts… becoming no more than a blur of colors. the coin eventually hits the table, and that’s when the room settles into an unrecognizable bar. new decor, new drinks, and new people. ]

And that’s behind us now. [ he makes no further comment, instead ordering them one shot each alongside a water. ] Just one this time. [ and he’ll let sunday win this one. ]

[ He is relieved at the change in scenery and at the one shot. He removes his vest and starts undoing buttons, making himself disheveled as he rolls up his sleeves. He does not want to wear his old uniform again as he downs the one shot glass quickly. ]

I see the change is helping already. Good. [ he drinks his own shot and overturns the glass. ] Dare.
