Your method of dispensing hugs might be the more appropriate approach, though Aventurine mentioned there should be an existing tether in place for heightened effectiveness.

Is that the case? So are hugs just as effective as kisses, you think? Did Aventurine say anything specific?

[ Having an existing tether makes sense to increase the effectiveness, though. The tethers themselves already feel good on their own, spending close proximity with someone they trust. ]

All I know is that Tokens like me are supposedly more compatible with an Offering like you.

Tethers do help as do more...involved forms of intimacy. I would say depending on where and who you kiss, it may be more effective than a hug.

Now, that he failed to mention. [ But it does explain a bit. ] I was not aware harmony between the two Tokens was also crucial to escaping the effects of Sundowning.
