Filler...episodes? And with Moray falling into slumber, I do not blame him. I miss him too, and our cabins do feel even emptier for it. I hope he will be able to cope given what he learned about Moray just before Moray fell asleep.

It is all the more reason for me to come visit you both more often.

Sorry, I'm a writer and screenwriter, I use this kinda terminology, especially because the Showmaster is so obsessed with stories. Basically it's nonsensical stuff that doesn't justify being on this boat to experience. Maybe they will all tie in together, but my experiences go to negative harmful potentials for otherwise innocent but apparently pointless interactions.

Not sure if what he learned made it worse. He's very avoidant of the situation and selling heh u distraction. That's what I've been doing for the past several hours for him. He finally fell asleep, so I put him to bed.

It's understandable, I don't blame him, it's just this whole ship is dangerously fucked up emotional powdered that no one knows how to deal with, apparently, except with sleeping around with each other. Normally, this type of behavior is not the healthiest but can work for many people trouble, but we're basically in a cage of our own making. The drama on this ship regarding everyone's relationships really short circuits me. I try to underhand , but the fact is I never will. Both me and my vision self are not able to understand human emotions enough to assist people like I want to.

[ sighs. Drinks some more. ]

Maybe I'm actually jealous of everyone's connections rather than really think they're playing with fire, but...

I think you understand them more than you think...and I am sure most people are using the physical release and the brief high that comes with it to help escape the worst of what this ship offers and the visions.

Or some people are so desperate for connection and comfort that they will use sex as a veil for intimacy they would otherwise not receive.

I hope so, though I have not kept close track of many relationships outside of Siren. Even then, I am not sure who is pursuing who even within the Sirens, save for Gray and Ore naturally.

I as well. It would be rather perilous to grow too attached. We do not know what fate awaits us at the end of this, though the thought of saying goodbye and never speaking to one another also makes me uneasy.

That would probably be an individual choice rather than something we would all have to experience without choice, at least.

Attachments make the trauma and suffering harsher, but I guess it's impossible to not want to seek out companionship with others especially in a situation like this.

I guess it's a no win and the majority of us willingly signed up for this kind of thing so we can't blame anyone but ourselves in the end...?

I could have stayed on shore, but I wanted to know the truth. Or maybe I was looking for a way to escape the complacency of my former lifestyle.

I do not regret boarding the ship either time no matter how terrible it gets. It is better than living in ignorance, and I would also not be able to spend more time with you and the other Sirens.

All the more incentive to try, but at base line, it will be edible. I would never feed you anything raw or overly burnt. Do you have any simple favorite foods I can try?

Uhm, I like tahini, hummus, and tzatziki, but they might be hard to get all the spices for on the ship so anything is fine.

I could potentially get ingredients for them, but they may require a few tasks to get them done. Most of them tend to involve hand-holding or touching of some sort.

I really love strawberries....! Do you know pavlova? It might be too hard to make...

—Ahh, actually we can do is style sherbet! It's really easy. You just smash fruit and sugar together in a blender then freeze it fog eating in cups!

Pavlova...it should not be too much of a challenge. It is mostly egg whites, correct? Granted, whisking it by hand might be a challenge, but I need to work out my arm muscles more anyway.
